The Pitch Bow was designed and built in collaboration with New Orleans Airlift and Ranjit Bhatnagar for a project called the Music Box: Tampa Bay. The Music Box is a musical architecture project, conceived of and run by New Orleans Airlift, an artist-driven initiative whose mission is to collaborate, to inspire wonder, connect communities and foster opportunities through the creation of experimental public art. This Tampa out post was presented by the USF Contemporary Art Museum, directed by Sarah Howard, Curator of Public Art and Social Practice. This structure was built with 80% reclaimed materials and now lives in a music box village in New Orleans. Visit the Pitch Bow and 6-7 other pieces of musical architecture by visiting the New Orleans Airlift website and checking their Instagram for upcoming shows and public days.
